Setting up a Brekeke SIP Server Dial Plan with DIDX
Connecting with DIDx
DIDx (http://didx.net) offers inbound telephone service using the VoIP standard SIP. The service provides users with local PSTN numbers. And you can receive calls over the Internet from up to 60 countries. This document will explain how to utilize Brekeke PBX with DIDx.Setting Up A DIDx Account

A Review of DIDX by Member since 2005, the Beginning
Our experience has been great with DIDx. We started working with them since 2005 buying DIDs. Went through the interop process which is pretty well-documented and simple, all you need is found in their knowledge base.
Once we went through the interop process, we started buying DIDs and later on started using their APIs. Integrated them completely into our provisioning system. It was pretty exciting that our customers were able to chose the DIDs they wanted before they purchased them and also that right after purchase the DIDs were enabled and provisioned. Nowadays, we have our own PRI circuits in Canada so we became a seller as well.
Support is practically 24/7, you will always be attended in less than an hour through Skype or by opening a ticket through the GUI. The support team, especially Muneeb and Arfeen, will always be glad to give you a hand until any issue you find is solved.

I recall there was an issue with a carrier going out of business for certain area code in the past, and one recently regarding Ohio numbers, but we were not affected. Can't recall any other in a very long time.
Either way, DIDX always makes a great effort to port the numbers to other carriers so damages were very little in some cases or none at all. Other than that, if you chose the vendor rating while browsing for DIDs, you will find different levels of quality, but in theory, all DIDs are tested once they are listed.
I've come to encounter DIDs that after purchasing them, they are not on-line anymore, but this has happened just one or two of times only in the 5 years we've been using DIDX, and always ... with low rating vendors.
One of their great features, besides the great voice quality, multiple channels, codec support and low prices, is their support for T.38 in some areas, it just works great.
I definitely recommend you go through the interop process and receive the test DIDs, since the test DIDs are free. Then you will be able to experience how practical DIDx is and how well it works at first hand. If you need any assistance with the setup I'll be glad to help as well.
