Question from a group of open source telephony developers:
I'm testing the SMS DID 1-619-335-2020. The SMS URL is successfully opened after sending a text message from my cellphone, since I'm getting this e-mail notification. The URL is:
http://sms.ourwebdomain.com/sms.php
However, the POST variables don't seem to exist.
I'm trying to get the following POST variables:
- Sender: $_POST['from']
- Recipient (should be DID): $_POST['to']
- Message content: $_POST['message']
- Unique ID: $_POST['ident']
All of them are empty, that's why the details below don't show.
Will appreciate your support, and it is really exciting to have SMS enabled DIDs. It just opens a wide range of new and different services we can develop.
DIDX technical support answer:
The method to post the variable from DIDx is "GET". At your end you should use either "REQUEST" or "GET". This way you will be able to receive the data sent by us. Thanks and check back any time.
