The following is a copy of a recent discussion with a potential DID vendor for a new country to be available on DIDX. This is typical of potential vendors abroad (outside the USA) who have just now heard of DIDX.net. This one heard of DIDX.net from meeting us at several conferences around the world and recently decided to get started. That's good news for 16,000+ providers using DIDX.

In order to provide a good rate plan, I need certain information about your client's case.
- What will the number be used for ? Audio conferencing bridge in the country of the user that the DID belongs to? Call forwarding to a destination number? Calling card services? For connection to SIP trunking servers? Or just for normal enterprise customers' business needs like sales enquiries and customer services?
- Is your existing client using "pick your nation" phone numbers now? If yes, how's their existing traffic volume per month? What are the existing problems in using the "pick your nation" 800 toll free or type DID numbers?
- In order to give you the rates, also advise where will our calls terminate to? USA, Canada, or somewhere else? The reason is this different country destinations will have different rate plans.
- How soon will your customer want this service to be up and running?
- How soon will your company want to set up the test?
... Are you an IP communications related entrepreneur, telco of any type, wired or wireless, contact center, social or business community portal provider, conference producer and such? If not, find out how to get your telephone company to offer phone numbers from around the world.
