We know how tough it can be even for businessmen and businesswomen with well-known companies to get a visa to certain countries from certain other countries to participate in conferences, trade shows and exhibitions. We're starting a list here to show how well some conferences deal with this.
PTC: PTC issues Visa/Invitation letters as part of their registration process. They urge attendees to register early and select ‘invitation letter’. A PDF letter will be sent via email.
CTIA: http://ctiawireless.com/international/visa.cfm and even an immediate visa invitation letter here: http://www.ctiawireless.com/convinfo/visa_info.cfm. If you want a hard copy letter, you need to register at LEAST three months in advance. We would say, make it at least three months.
ITExpo East and West: Contact Frank Coppola at fcoppola@tmcnet.com to inquire about the event and request an invitation letter.
Check out conferences and tradeshows that DIDXchange is media partner for at http://www.didx.net/events.
... Are you an IP communications related entrepreneur, telco of any type, wired or wireless, contact center, social or business community portal provider, conference producer and such? If not, find out how to get your telephone company to offer phone numbers from around the world.
