A DID with Caller ID Number: someone calls from for example 18504338555 which is forwarded to my new DID number 12123656913 that I bought from a telephony company that is a member of www.didx.net. Then, the device that I received the call on where the 212 number was forwarded to ... should show 18504338555 is sending the call.
A DID with Caller ID Name: 18504338555 is registered with the name of Super Technologies for example. Someone will dial the 1850 number which is forwarded to my 1212 DID number. My device will show the name of Super Technologies if my device has the capability of showing names.
